This isn't really exclusively a Ruger question but I would be interested to learn your opinions. At what price point or price range do you believe there is the best value for money spent? I am aware that there is a "point of diminishing returns". It would seem with the various foreign makers, Glock clones, value lines from American makers that the firearms industry & price points of quality semi-auto pistols has changed. So where do you think this is?

From my perspective it is in the $300 to $400 range. That’s why my last 2 pistols were a Ruger Security 9 Compact and a Ruger Security 380. No frills guns with good reputations for reliability. Some call them economy guns. I call the great buys.
