I recently acquired a two piece yellow & black box for a BKH36, s/n 31-35019 (1973). Included with the box, is a blued 9mm cylinder, red felt bag & cylinder box with "Fitted Extra Cylinder For Ruger Revolver" printed in red on it. The two piece box has bright colors, sound corners & with no tears. There is a faint discoloration mark (stain?) running along two thirds of the top, then over the non printed end & along one side of the box (about a third of it). On the back end of the cylinder is etched the following numbers between the three chambers; 0 1 9 & a stamped "S". There is also a warrenty card & a NRA card. Without photos to look at, value? Thanks!

normally, we see one like this around here going for $75 -100 for the box, more with papers & shipper, and the 9mm cylinders in the bag same thing,$75-100 with red bag and the small cardboard box......of course the "pucker factor" ( NEED and HOW bad) or an auction with 2 people bidding, can drive up any and all pricing.
I sold a "mint" 9mm cylinder, OM last OGCA for $100......and the last "nice" box we sold 3 weeks ago was $100, hope this helps..............

The cylinder used is $80, add $20 for the bag and box if the box is nice. If the cylinder looks unused, add another $20.

Someone else can guess at the gun box. Need pics.

Dan's prices are what the stuff is currently bringing at the shows around here.

We see them go for more here on the site.

This now constitutes the second "BOX ONLY" entry on Bob's List.

You got a nice package of goodies there. Very good condition, and the extras are a plus. I'd put that package at about $200-$225 for everything shown!

please note the 3 digits are stamped (marked) on the REAR of the cylinder, for you folks that say this doesn't "happen"....NICE package, and very nice pictures by the way, doesn't get much better than that....

Thanks all. I will be posting this in Classifieds soon.

One last question. How do I determine that the cylinder is indeed a OM cylinder? I believe it is since the last three numbers of the s/n written on the box are etched on the rear of the cylinder.
