So several years ago I bought a Kershaw Link knife. I have carried it & used it daily. A few years ago I bent the pocket clip. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to grip it & gave it just a little bit of a twist to tighten it up. That worked for a while but of course eventually it loosened up again. So about a week ago I did a little digging, went on their website & filled out a form requesting replacement parts. They did not ask for any money. Not even to cover shipping costs. I did spend a little this evening to get a "precision screwdriver set". I didn't have a Torx driver small enough for the tiny screws. So now my knife has a brand new belt clip. I know this is a relatively small thing but I also believe good customer service should be recognized.

My only Kershaw clips on my pocket every day. I can't think of a day in the two year I have had it that it didn't get used for something...

OUAT we might have been partying I don't remember but my rainbow leek ended up in the fire. When I found it the next day I sent it to Kershaw and they sent me a brand new one. It' some of the greatest customer I've experienced.

That’s great customer service!

I had a small laptop that a screw got loose and fell out of the bottom. Not a big deal, but I had to buy a set of very small torx screwdrivers to put a new screw back in place.

It’s surprising how often I’ve used that set since then. They really come in handy.

The bad part is I had a multi screwdriver with assorted small flat, torx, & Phillips bits but I couldn’t find it. Right after I got back with the new small bit & screwdriver set & changed the clip my daughter found the old one. It had fallen off my nightstand & rolled under the bed. It wont hurt to have an extra set.

I lost the pivot screw out of an old discontinued knife and ask for a replacement. They sent two and neither one fit. I appreciated the effort on an out-of-stock knife. Ended up getting another one out of a scrap box of knives at a gun show. It works but I don't trust it. It gave me a reason to buy another Kershaw. :)

I got started on Kershaw by finding one. The contractor I was working for was doing a mechanical remodel on the domestic terminal at Hartsfield Jackson Airport in Atlanta. We walked into a space we were going to be working in & it was hanging by its belt clip on a ceiling wire that the last foot or so of had been bent up. I asked everyone from every trade if it was theirs & no one claimed it so I kept it. I carried it for a year or two. Then I was trying to do something in hurry up mode & broke the blade. I checked into their warranty then & found out that while they will replace blades for a small fee they don't warranty them for a factory second knife. The knife I had found was a factory second. That was when I bought the Link. I would have never bought an assisted opening knife before that but using one changed my mind.

I like them enough I recently gifted a Kershaw Cryo II to my nephew.

I carried a Blur for many years. Lost it on a camping trip. These days a Kershaw Cryo is my EDC. Rotated occasionaly with an Oso Sweet. (Cryo designed by Doug Hinderer, Oso Sweet by Ken Onion)

Same here. I have a bunch of Kershaw's. Love their Launch series. I have a Speed Bump that
somehow ended up under my tractor wheel. Only damage was to the clip. Flattened that
sucker to where I couldn't get it right again. I sent them a request on how to get another
clip. Instead of the info, they sent me a replacement clip with screws. Refused my offer to
pay for it and just told my they were happy to have me for a customer. That's how it's done
folks.

You are absolutely right! Many folks, and firms, are "damned by faint praise."

As somebody said at a funeral, "The evil that men do oft lives after them, the good oft interred with their bones."

Thank youj.

Kershaw is the best. Probably have 15 or 20 of them. S30V, D2 and CM154 are my favorite knife steels, have gave them to my son-in-law, grandson and granddaughter's husband and a few close friends. Love the assisted openers. Have carried them for over 23 years. Their customer service is great.
