Went to my closest LGS yesterday. Powder and bullets, loaded also, starting to show up on the shelves. Powder was $ 24.95/lb.

Still nothing in my area. Would you mind picking me up a couple of pounds of BL-C2 or Varget or H355?

I haven't seen powder on the shelves in months.
The clerk at Gander laughed at me when I told him I was looking for IMR 3031.

I was surprised to see quite a bit of powder on the shelf this time at on of the regions gun shops a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately every one (but one) was a can of something I don't use  .... I did pick up a can of Green Dot (only Dot they had) ... and should have grabbed all three bottles....

I was able to get some Alliant Red-Dot powder yesterday after searching & waiting for it since March past! Lots of other powders on shelves here in gunshops in Ontario, but it seems to be mostly the types for rifles....
Like the Red-Dot for target loads in .32 Long, .38 Spl. & .45 acp pistol cartridges, for good accuracy, loading density, & is cleaner burning than some others I've used!

I too hope it gets better soon for everybody, life is hard without reloading supplies.....

Hi...

I really haven't had any trouble finding powder, primers or bullets hereabouts.

I may have to search a few gun shops over the course of a week or so, but eventually I find what I'm looking for.
I have been able to meet my needs for this shooting season and have a reasonable stash stockpiled...about enough supplies for approx. 12K rounds of handgun ammunition.
It is interesting that some shops have had essentially no supplies, while others have managed to keep at least some product on the shelves fairly consistently.

Now .22LR ammunition is a different story.

I still intend to stockpile some 4 and 8# jugs of various handgun powders.

I had intended to start reloading rifle ammunition this year, but the need to stockpile supplies for reloading handgun ammunition has taken precedence. We shoot a lot more handgun ammunition around here than we do rifle ammunition.

Saw some over in another town yesterday (so that is what powder on the shelf looks like!) . Looking a 'bit' better. Most were powders I could care less about though. But in one shop I did run onto some True Blue that I was looking for! So picked up a couple of pounds. Back to some testing with it. Now around my town... it is still a 'empty shelf' proposition.
