Posting pics?

I was a photo bucket user now I'm just getting started using Imgur.
Is their a way to post pics in a thread so they show up without clicking on the Imgur link? I'll add that I'm using an iPad, don't know it that matters.

Not sure I can help, I use postimage.com... but there should be a way to get a link that will just show the picture.
There it is a window that shows a lot of options you can click on and copy and then paste in your post here... the one I use at postimage is called "hot link to forums".

While in imagur, click the pick you want to use.

When that opens, look to the right side and find the box that has the [ img ] tags at the start and end of the url. Copy that whole line (there is a "copy" button next to it to do it for you)

Then paste the whole line into your post here and the image should show up.

Size matters.

Also in the right near the bottom you will see a selection of sizes. Like thumbnail, small square, big square, etc.

You may have to try different ones to make them fit the page here. Or just resize your image before you upload it and then the url with the img tags should fit nice

Yooper1 will this work using the app? Because when I click on the pic nothing like what you described pops up

If the pic's already uploaded to imgur, you'll have to copy the pic's imgur link.

If the pic's on your device, you might be able to attach it directly to forum thread.

How do I use this feature? I know on other forms their is a button for this. But can't figure it out for this forum.

You can't do it on this forum.

There is an attachment manager function in the user control panel, accessed via the button located at the top RH corner of every forum page.

I have posed the question of how to attach pics here in the forum's admin section:

AFAIK, anybody can open that thread/question & "subscribe" to it, in order to be notified of any answer.
