Jeff's thread made me think of this. Everyone post up some good sunrise and sunset pictures.

This isn't a recent one but I was walking there again this evening. The sunset was beautiful tonight too, but I didn't have a camera with me. This is Mt. Rainier at sunset from standing at the top of the gravel pit and looking across the valley past the dump. :lol: It looks a lot nicer than it sounds, and it's only a mile or so away from my house! :D

Awesome pictures everyone! And Flatgate better watch out. If he's not careful posting all those pictures he'll have new neighbors. My wife and I are thinking of moving in the next year or two and were planning on Montana or Idaho, but your pictures might change our minds. :shock:

No problem. The image that depicts the setting moon and the first rays of sunlight striking the mountain was taken on a balmy -15° F January morning........

It was -21°F here on last Thursday morning.
