:( Recently purchased (on line) a couple of old model lockworks. When inspecting them prior putting in parts box, I noticed one set had a wide trigger. Both came in old envelopes with orginal gun serial number, so I looked up .41s w/brass frame knowing that they came with wide triggers. The set with the wide trigger is 40-21297 and is listed by Dougan as an orginal brass frame gun.

Just seems a little sad.

However if owner of 40-21297 wants to sell me the gun, I will put it back to near orginal condition.

Cool! I wonder if 40-21297 is sitting in a truck somewhere with scratched up alloy gripframe...

Thats my gun, please send parts I must have lost them.

Wow!! Glad to hear you have that gun! Hope you have the other that went with it!! The ultimate consecutive pair!!
BlackEagle...you can rest assured that if ndruger says he has that gun, then he has that gun. I also know that gun well because I helped mate the 6-1/2" brass frame up with it as its consecutive #. There is no other known consecutive pair quite like these two guns!!

That is a cool pair! I thought he was just kidding around. He's a lucky guy apparently. I reckon the other dozen are pretty nice too. I wish I could get my hands on a 6 1/2" .41 mag brassie!

Jerry....now's your chance sell him all 12 of those tarnished frame shooters

Ol ND has all the KOOL GUNS 8) 8) 8) every time he visits I have to sell him something GOOD    RR

Yes I had the mate to that gun a 6 1/2 in. BKH-42B that I sold to Richard in Maine, serial number 40-21296. My gun was as close to mint as one can find without buying one new and putting it up and never turning the cylinder. I would hope that the pair is still together as they were the only consecutive Brass frame .41 Mag. with different barrel lengths.

Gentlemen,

WOW!!!

I had heard of that pair but did not know serial numbers.

The note with the conversion parts was of course somehow very wrong but sure was a huge coinsidence.

ndruger,

I sure took your first "my gun" as a joke. Any chance of a picture of that rare pair posted here on the Ruger Forum?
