The local Forest Service Office has a pollinator garden. The other day I went by and took some pictures for bicultural event we're having. Thought I'd share. Using local wildflowers.
Thought I'd also post some pictures of my own yard:
Blueberries, bleeding heart, and sage
Paprika Yarrow (also a local wildlflower)
Tiger lillies
The last one will be a surprise. This is a mint that's taken over one portion of the yard. A good groundcover, a late bloomer that attracts LOTS of bees and butterflies. BONUS: an excellent herb, especially when fresh. I've already dried two 16oz bottles. You'd pay about $8 apiece and it wouldn't be nearly as good, in the stores. Overwinters well, under the snow.
