Playing With Iron Sights On Mark IV

I've been shooting for a few years with a red dot attached to my Mark IV 22/45 and have been doing o.k. in Steel Challenge Matches in the RFPO division.

I'm testing my 22/45 with iron sights to get classified in RFPI as well.

Today I shot my 22/45 Lite and found that I can shoot it just as well if not better than with the dot. I'll shoot this way for the next few weeks to see how it works.

Those are good guns for sure. Open sights (for older eyes,) can be a bit harder. I like red dots for speed.
