Was able to pick up my SP101 9mm today. Field stripped and cleaned it and will hopefully get to the range next weekend. It came with 5 moon clips, inner box and outer box. I have no idea if the boxes are the original (probably not) but I would have purchased it with or without boxes at this point (took a long time to find one that was in decent shape). It was missing the little disassembly pin but I just used a small nail to capture the spring.

It's a 2 1/4" barrel. I sure like the way this gun balances in my hand. I want to order some new grips and need to find a holster. I normally use the High Noon Snapper holster but they don't make one for the SP101.

Will post a range report in a week or so.

I have Rugeritis so bad that it's not funny!!!!!!! Really beginning to love revolvers.

Well I paid way too much for mine but I wanted it and don't think I'll ever come across a "good deal" like I've seen some of the forum members get.

The older I get the more I believe in "a bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush".

In fact, the Rugers I've purchased are all out of production so I've overpaid for all of them with the exception of one of the PC9s.

I do concur!... I've done well on some... paid the premium on others... no biggie. :p
