Picked up a NIB PC4 .40 and am looking for magazines . . P17/10 .40

Hello -

I ended up with a very large quantity of .40 a while back and decided to look for one of these PC4s after shooting a friends. Factory magazines for these seem to be difficult to find. They share the same type as P91 and P94 semi-auto handguns and you would think there might be more of these around.

Also found a mint P94 (which shares the same mag) at a good price, but it came with a non-factory magazine and the floorplate blew off the bottom after one filled clip. The aftermarket mag spring seemed to vaporize, never to be found! After a lengthy search, all hope was abandoned.

If anyone has NOS or very good condition magazines they would part with, please shoot me a message.

There are two 20 rd Ruger mags on eBay. A little pricey, $45 & $65, used and new.
Have you tried a P89 mag, I know for a fact that a P91 mag works in a P89.

There are two 20 rd Ruger mags on eBay. A little pricey, $45 & $65, used and new.
Have you tried a P89 mag, I know for a fact that a P91 mag works in a P89.

The only functional difference between a P91 (40) & P85/89 (9mm) mag is the feed lips. The lips on the 9mm can be tweaked to work with the 40 if they won't work as is.

Back when high cap mags were hard or very hard to come by a friend loaned me several 10 round P91 40 S&W mags. Not only did they work, they held 14-15 rounds of 9mm. Now the inverse may or may not work out as well but it's worth a try.

Thank you. This seller had 5 listed for $42 each and when I inquired about buying all 5 he did not reply to me but raised the price to $65 each. Looking at his seller feedback makes me not want to buy anything from him, especially after that. A member here has been helpful, but I'd like to find a couple more since I have the two firearms that share the same magazine. Thank you!
