The gun shop called tonight, and my new LCR is in stock. The wait was not too bad' just two weeks from the day I left the deposit.

I was told six weeks was normal, so maybe the backlog is letting up now?

If I can get off work early tomorrow, I'll be at the range trying out my new LCR. I'll let you know what I find.

Tak care all,
Bill

Well, I have put about 100 rounds through this new gun, and I have to say I am pleased with my purchase. Mine does have the transfer bar rattle, but it does not bother me.

After 100 rounds, I gave it a really good cleaning-it was not near as dirty as my Single Sixes get, but I had jacketed ammo.

Now I need to search for holsters. ANy advice here is apprecaited.

Take care all, Bill

Hi Bill,

Do you remember when the new style Dodge Trucks came out several years a go. They were a shock to my eyes, and for the longest time I thought they were beyond ugly.

Same for the LCR. Although it didn't nearly take as long for the LCR to grow on me as it did with the Trucks, but I really like the LCR's now. I have fondled a few but never fired one.

I may own one one of these days, maybe when the price comes down a little. I know, I'm probably dreaming.

Show us a pic of the LCR and the new holster when you find one to your liking.

Cheers
