Looks like your prepared! Got good taste in that Cold Steel. Owning a couple real quality blades beats a draw full of cheapos. These blades today sure look quality over the offerings I had back in the early 60s. Seems either a fixed blade hunter of those polished blade folders sold at the corner store for a buck. Then again we are talkin Stone Age when I was a youth. Enjoying the hobby though today with all the offerings. Sure am glad I held onto the Puma. Made in 66 according to the stamping. Whopping $26 or $27 back then. Funny thing took half my paycheck back in 67.

I gave my son a while back my Puma Gamemaster from the late 60's
Mail order at about the 26.00 range. Had to save mowing money to get it.
I like the Cold Steel brand :) The Air Lite works for me. Tough little knife. Not worried about losing it because it is not too costly.
The SAP was a special order from Scott Foster of Foster Impact Devices. Not sure if he is still in business. I did not/do not need one, but I like having it around ;)

I've always carried a hatched or small axe in my vehicles. I needed a new one when I bought my last pickup. I found this Eastwing double bit hatchet at the local hardware store. I have to admit, being able to swap ends and keep chopping (saving sharpening for later) works out pretty well.

Years ago I gave one of the tomahawk style hatchets a try. Why they might make a good weapon, they are too light and the head too small to be much good as a chopper for extended use. It now hangs in the garage collecting dust. I suppose one of my kids will grab it next time they are down.
