No. IMHO worst PCC ever made. Its nearly impossible to get a proper cheek weld and the resulting accuracy is mediocre.
Cheek weld agreed. I put a stock extender on mine and it helped some. I'm 6 ft and take a 35 in sleeve in shirts. One in place it seems to be ok for accuracy. However in home defense situation those are wasted seconds.

A PCC makes a lot of sense for the two of you, IMO. I like to say that if carrying a rifle, it might as well shoot a rifle caliber, but definitely see the advantages of a PCC here.

I have a Ruger PC9 and recommend it. Recoil is light, there are plenty of sighting options, it has a short piece of rail in a good location to easily mount a light. Most of all, the noise and muzzle blast are minimal for the results.
Shooting a .233 in confined spaces is miserable for everyone.

The sights are close to the barrel, so close range boreline/sight line hold off is so slight it can mostly be ignored. That's an AR/etc house gun point that often gets overlooked.

The only complaint I hear about the PC9 is that it is heavy. I suppose it is compared to some 9mm carbines, but it isn't heavy for a carbine in general.
And it's not like a home defense gun gets carried far.

It feels and operates a lot like a 10/22, so if you have one of those and your wife has shot it, she can shoot a PC9. You can use a 10/22 for cheap practice.

It's often illuminating how easy it is to shoot. I'll be out practicing with pistol for a while then bring my PC9 out for a little bit. My first shots might be a mediocre effort but easily top my best work with the pistol I've been shooting all day.
As I said: Illuminating.

Most AR banned here in CT. Plus recoil may be too much for wife. Anyone use a PCC for home defense? Any down side?
I see a problem with assumptions: the recoil of most PCCs is not any less than ARs. Those that recoil less are expensive, complicated platforms: CMMG Resolute, SIG MPX, H&K SP5. What PCC brings to the table is not a reduction in recoil, but a reduction flash and report over an AR. Nonetheless it will make your ears ring pretty badly indoors.

The downside is an opportunity cost: you can carry and operate a pistol with one hand, but with a PCC you'll have to sling it. There may not be enough space near the bed as well.
