Hello, I just bought a new PC Carbine.

First trip to the range, with various ammo brands, weights, etc., I had failure to eject (stovepipe style empty case captures of the bolt against the front of the receiver). I was using the new stock Ruger magazine that comes with the carbine in the box. I had at least two of these failures with each full magazine's worth, regardless of the amount brand, weight, etc.

Obviously, after the first failure I was careful to keep the rifle tight against my shoulder to assure the bolt had all the help it could get with velocity.

I have watched a bunch of videos with a bunch of various fixes. Just wondering if by now there was a consensus of a most common fix.

Otherwise the gun is very accurate and easy to shoot well. I really hope I can fix the ejection problem.

People seem to take the advice of: don't use lube as it collects dirt and fouling. Yeah, OK if you're working in 'the sandbox' but detrimental if you're taking a new firearm for it's initial run. Liberal use of something like CLP or even 0W20 synthetic motor oil is a far better plan.
Prior to the wildfire here that took all my shop and tools, I was doing initial start up of more AR's per month than most folks do break in of any sort of gun in their entire life. Simple process: oil them till the smoke billows out of all the portals for the first 20 rounds and then slack off a bit.

I knew a Vietnam vet who said their cleaning was dunk the bolt carrier group in water, dry it off, and coat everything in CLP.

I use Battle Born HP Pro for my guns. I'm willing to pay a lot for that handy applicator bottle.

Sorry about your loss. I hope you got some insurance!
