I'm looking to buy a new PC carbine in 9mm, model 19100. Do I need to care about the date of manufacture? That is, have there been any "model updates" (that is, product improvements) during its years of manufacture? Or are the ones made today the same as the original version that came out in 2017.
I just don't want to buy a version that may not have had the bugs worked out. I am not aware of any recalls on the PC carbine, but thought I would ask first. Thanks

I would guess that if you buy a new one, you will get a new one. They are selling them as fast as they can make them.

The 19100 models have been out of stock for months at the distributor level, so anything you may find now should have very recently been assembled. I bought one the year they came out. No problems other that I can't find my (7) 21 round MagPul magazines that I had in my other pickup before I traded it in. Bob :(
