Nice!
RENE value for a tri-color LWAC is $1100 for 95% condition, so "good" condition might be $750. The flatgate value is $725 without the box. Early non-catalog number box is $210. $1685 total, plus the extra loot. So you didn't get hurt.I paid top price I believe at $1500 for the total package, but I'm okay with it.
Just out of curiosity- does WA state recognize an 03FFL? I know Oregon doesn't.In the state of Washington, there is a 10 business day waiting period before the firearms can be picked up at the FFL.
That's the law. I will provide pics of the Rugers in about 10 days. Please be patient.

not long ago maybe 3-4 months my buddy sold a tricolor on gunbroker for 1400Today, I met the guy who had the 2 revolvers. I bought them! The flat gate blued single six is in very nice condition and came with a Ruger letter with a manufacture date of May 1955. The Tri-Color was as I remembered with a SN of 202xxx. Also got some extras such as an XR3red grip frame with Holly wood grip panels that resemble ivory. Very beautiful. Also got miscellaneous hardware. I paid top price I believe at $1500 for the total package, but I'm okay with it. Pictures to come in a couple of weeks.
An 03FFL is a C&R ( Curio and Relic) license. It enables you to purchase guns over 50 years old and have them shipped to your door with no hoops to jump through. These guns must be for your personal collection- not for resale. Also while you are out of your home state, you can purchase and take possession of qualifying firearms. The premise is that if you have a Federal Firearms License, you don't need another background check to acquire a firearm. Again, it is only for guns considered Curio and Relic- over 50 years old or otherwise individually classified.Pardon mi ignorance, but what is an 03FFL?
Interesting. I am curious how that works if you purchase from out of state, such as through GunBroker.Thanks. The dealer I am working with told me the only advantage of a C-R in my case is that you don't need to do a background check but still have to wait the 10 business days to acquire the firearms.
FYI, Oregon is bad but not as unfriendly as Washington.
