On the p95 polymer p-series , the slide stop has a small spring loaded detent piece in it that pops in and out of a small space on the frame. Have any of you p95 owners had any problems with the slide stop not staying seated or anything related ? Thanks for any information .

Are there any problems with them when compared with the aluminum frames P-Series ?

None I'm aware of.

And I once owned the P85, P89, P90 and P95s.

Ok great and thanks guys. I found a Ruger P95 like new and also a CZ75 compact. Damn hell of a choice for me. Both are at a good price. The CZ is obviously more money but both these pistols are my favorites. Now to make a decision.

IMO, you won't find a more reliable, more forgiving pistol than a P series Ruger. I currently own a P90 and a P95, and have had others in the past. They are tough, rugged, accurate, reliable pistols.

I was a P95 fan for years and still think Ruger came pretty close to perfection with that pistol.... then of course the corporate mentality set in and they had to change... my only problem is I switched to carrying SA/DA Sigs and like where the decock lever is on them better. But I just did a two hour road trip up into the mountains of N.C. and guess what was in the back of our car?

No issues whatsoever, with mine...

It's my EDC -spare magazines close at hand in the glove box.

I love the P-series pistols!

P-series,own 2 . P95 & P91.
Bought both decades ago, and still my choice for home defense.
Both got mepro night sights that are dim now....lol.

P91 Crimson trace laser grips still work fine. 11 round mag+1 .40sw
P95 Hogue handall jr. grips still a perfect fit. 15 round mag +1 9mm

Both guns reliable, accurate, and fits my hands like made for them.

Huge fan!
