I'm thinking of changing the fixed sight on my P85 to an adjustable one. Would someone pass on the procedure for rear site removal and installation.

Thanks

jessuah, Welcome to the forum! Once you have the slide off and the safeties R & L out, and the firing pin and spring out, simply drift the rear sight out to the right with a non-maring drift punch. Be sure and restrain the firing pin block "spring" as you drift the sight out! Re-assembly is in the reverse direction. Be sure and get the "full" set both front and rear so as to be able to adjust for various ammo. The front sight is held in by two roll pins. Simply drift these pins out with the appropriate roll pin punch..............................Dick
