I purchased my first 10/22 in 1976 (I still have it). It is a Deluxe Sporter and I paid $77.00 for it.

$0. Best friend of mine passed and his mother gifted it to me. I was with him when he bought it to go squirrel hunting, that was 30 or more years ago.

Bought mine in 1972. It was my first Ruger. I traded a single shot Ithaca lever action for part of the cost. I don't recall the balance. I too still have mine.

My first Ruger was under $100. That is when I "upgraded" from a Marlin Glenfield that cost around $29.95

Bought my first one from a new dealer still working out of an office in a nursing home. I paid $100 total out the door. It was about 1972 or 73.

My Dad bought me my first one in 1973, I remember it being around $77 or $78. It was payment for work like a dog for him LOL. Still have it and it's unmodified other than I added sling swivels soon after it was given to me.

The first one I bought myself was $99 and change out the door in 1981

Probably around $120 IIRC, the stunner is I traded a Canadian centennial for near $700 worth of lever gun????

Really nice gun, the medallion in the stock just drove me nuts....
