Please add my name to the list.Imagine that you and a loved one are on a picnic. You have brought along a stick of salami, a wedge of hard cheese and a loaf of French bread. After setting up, you begin to cut up the goodies with the tacticool knife that's always in your pocket and you begin to notice that the darn thing is kinda thin in your hand...
Opinel to the rescue! What we have here is an Opinel No.9 folding knife with a Sandvik stainless steel blade. The handle is beautifully ergonomic and made of olive wood...lovely grain, hard and tough. It's new and still a bit stiff when you open it...needs to be used!
I love my Kershaw, but the Opinel is in a class by itself.
Winner to be drawn December 8th.
Good Luck!
I love my Opinel knife ( it gets carried every day). Please do Not put me in, it would deprive some one of a great pocket knife!
The ones in #28 have been turned into works of art by a whittler. They come with a very plane utilitarian wood handle.I have no idea exactly what a Opinel knife looks like, but the ones in message #28 do look nice. Please put my name in your list.
I was doing my normal thing of making a joke about what the OP wrote about the knife:I like both cheese and salami and would take that French broad along to.... oops I read that part wrong.
please add my name to the list.
I firmly believe in "rule #9"
