We had some ice overnight. I was in and out doing chores and stuff but chose not to drive anywhere. Grouch Attack returned from work about 2 PM and didn't pay enough attention to the icy driveway. Possible fracture of her upper arm. She's in a temporary cast and sling until an ortho doctor looks at it.
Lack of attention can be brutal.

It may not require much more than immobilization for a couple of weeks but that won't be known until the ortho looks at it.

We had the ice here too.
Just talked to my oldest daughter across town ..... the one with the short attention span. She woke up her daughter to tell her school was cancelled due to ice .... then went out and fell down the steps because of the ...... ICE. Who'd a thunk that??

Yeah, whoops is often too late.
I think the worst (weather wise) is past. The temps are rising and roads are thawing off so I'm most likely going out tomorrow for another 100 mile loop.

Her in VA two nights ago I woke up to hear the frogs croaking! in February! It was in the low 80s that day.
