I found out this morning that one of my childhood heroes died yesterday. Merlin Olsen, the anchor of the dreaded "Fearsome Foursome" defensive line of the Los Angeles Rams. He played 15 years in the NFL, making All-pro 14 of those years. I talked to sixshot about it, as both he and Merlin were born in Logan, Utah.

We both agreed he was a very special individual. If you want to hear about a great man, take the time to listen to some of the bits I pulled up from the net.

If you take the time to listen to these videos, you will see a class act ! Missing from much of todays sports. Merlin Olsen, may you rest in peace..............

Merlin Olsen was a remarkable man, he was a man among boys during his NFL career but the man went far beyond pro football. He will be missed.
