Has anybody tried this,,,jus got mine back from Ruger warranty,,,Will run to the range tomorro sending 100 rounds thru it to clear newness cob webs out or beginning stages to break it in some. But has anybody tried actually cutting a single section bottom of the spring in the magazine to releave some of the tightness of spring pushing up on the rounds to a serious degree,I have heard mention of this and the fact im not the only one who thinks they musta had a machine to literally set the range and specific tension amount for each mag,,10 or 12 round mags is hell and high water getting that last round in sometimes the last 2 rounds,,,let me know I wont just do this befor seriously breaking this thing in first,,but I am just curious to see if any ones had success doing so ,,again let me know your thoiughts ,,,Thanks Guys!!!

People don't cut springs, they install one the proper tension the gun is designed for.

No break in period is needed. If the gun don't work right out of the box, it's broke and needs to go back to the factory or be sold or traded for one that works.

Never could understand why anyone would try a force a last round into a magazine. The internet with a the More is better BS is, well just internet garbage. Just load the dang thing up to 9 rounds 11 rounds. If that is not enough, then that is just the way the cookie crumbles.
Lol, I am sure some that want that last round so bad that they will resort to using a hammer.
