I care nothing about football. I didn't pay any attention to the game but with the half time show being billed as the greatest half time show that ever was or ever will be, I got curious so I had to tune in to see that. Well, it was pure crap. I wouldn't give a single dime to see something like that in person. I hate RAP. I don't call it entertainment, I call it crap. I could not understand one word those two guys said. And the chick with the fat thighs was not worth looking at. I saw no actual talent at all there.

I had to quit watching that half time crap about half way through it, it was so bad. I don't even care who wins the football game.

The only good thing was the three Chevy convertibles. Could not understand a word they said.

I found The Sacketts was more enjoyable. I can't remember the last Super Bowl I watched. I like football but there is a specific time per play-quarter-game. Commercials every other play, or so it seems turned me off the game years ago

Sacketts ? The only Sacketts I know of are the Sackett family in a lot of Louie L'Amor novels. I liked his Sackett novels the best out of all of them. I read all of L'Amor's books, 102 novels if I remember right.

The one and the same.

I have seen the " Sacketts " a couple times before , so I watched " Missing " with Tommy Lee Jones.
I haven't seen it before.
Actually it wasn't too bad.

I did click over to see the half time show and thought " what the hell was that " .
And who was the gal with the tree trunk legs ?

Hi,

If football disappeared from the earth tomorrow, I probably wouldn't notice. But Super Bowl is one of the "check the box to keep your All-American boy status current" events and I'll usually catch two or three playing minutes waiting for half time. So I was a little disappointed my sketchy NBC signal (old fashioned over the air antenna) wasn't any good and I wouldn't be able to see the half-time show. Then I saw that Mary J Blige was the headliner along with her merry band of rappers. Sorry Mary J: I'm going to file for an exemption on my All-American Boy card for missing this year's half time show.

I'm sure glad I'm not the only one feeling as I do about that fiasco. I never watched football anyway but I sure don't like it now that they've associated themselves with those gangsta rappers. I think they are cutting their own throats.

I didn't bother to watch. With the SB halftime show featuring Snoop Dogg and Eminem, I knew it would be a fiasco from the start. And it apparently was, to judge from the headlines I've seen this morning.

Couldn't bring myself to watch the game, either. What little interest I had in football this season pretty much ended with the Chiefs choking in the AFC Championship. I will say it's great that Rams QB Matthew Stafford will finally get a Super Bowl ring, after all of those horrible years he spent stuck playing for Detroit. Otherwise, meh.

So, who was playing and who won? :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one that does not give a hoot about football or actually any sports...
and I played high school football for 5 years.... not what you think... way back then it was 8-12.

I ask my wife about 10:15 PM if this was Superbowl Sunday but she didn't know either. Are they still taking a knee? I quit watching any sport that did that. So far haven't seen any fishing or hunting shows where they did that. I would quit them too if they did.

Well "we" were not the halftime show target audience, good thing because I thought it sucked more than last years, wouldn't have bet a year ago that
it was possible, but they figured out a way! My wife always watches them, so I watch it and the last five minutes of the game.
Besides the show's content, she was pointing out that they were only playing to basically one side of the stadium. Maybe the tickets had a question if you liked rap music or not. I'd have thought the little boxes would have been open on both sides or something like that.
I'm sure I've only seen maybe 15-20 percent of super bowl halftime shows but I think we've seen the absolute bottom of the septic tank, it's been totally scraped clean of any remaining semblance of... well whatever that mess was. There can't be anything left down there but stained concrete!
Mike Rowe should have popped out afterwards and asked " Didi I get it all? "

Seems to me the SB halftime show pandered to the people who watch football the most. Middle class white American has been moving away from football for years in part thanks to Kaepernick and also thanks to NFL's woke policies. Once taxpayers see the waste of money new stadiums are and even more people move away from cable TV (a large percent of cable costs go to sport channels) the NFL will move to secondary entertainment. Lets hope our political leaders stop the pro sport welfare system of stadiums and college sports.

Normally I enjoy a good football game if the announcers don't talk too much. The play-offs games this season were great. But this Super Bowl...

The pre-game was unwatchable. the commercials were very weird. They cut out extra points and re-plays because the commercials were more important. The half-times show made me sick and the end of the BIG SHOW (game) was not that good with all the penalties.

I thought I'd turn on the Puppy Bowl for a couple of minutes just to see some cute puppies and perhaps get a smile, nope, wasn't going to happen, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart ruined that. I watched Puppy Bowl for about 20 seconds and didn't watch any of the super bowl.
