OM Blackhawk Trigger upgrade

I know this has been around before but using the 'search' tool == no joy.

I want to change my trigger from the toothpick it has now to something wide(r). There used to be a topic on doing this using a trigger from another Ruger SA.

Can anybody help or remember?

I believer your best bet is to find a grip frame off an Old Army and it's wide trigger. You could use just the trigger but I think you would have to widen the trigger slot on your existing frame. Or, you could buy an old model Super Blackhawk frame and trigger but then you would have the square backed dragoon frame.

If you find a larger trigger, I might be interested in that "toothpick" trigger.
A simple swap out of a later production OM trigger of the same model is fairly easy to do.

One can also use a "Super Blackhawk Conversion Kit" trigger and simply remover the "transfer bar" link.
