OM Blackhawk Brass Grip Frames

I would like to install brass grip frames on a pair of old model (three screw) 357 Blackhawks. These are 1966 and 1967 era guns with XR3-RED frames. The only thing I have found currently available is the Powers Colt style frames. While expensive, it appears this would work (with custom fitting and Colt style grips of course).

If someone has been down this road before I would appreciate any comments you might have.

Your best bet is to post a WTB on the forum here for a couple of MR3-BD brass Ruger frames. Least amount of fitting needed especially compared to the oversized Powers units. Ideally you would want the wide triggers as well. One of the members, Westerville I believe, has or just recently had one on GB.
