In my daily check of my favorite shops inventory, I saw they listed an OM Bearcat. Dates to 1964, has box & papers and says 95%...we'll see Monday. It's being held for me. Hopefullytheydidn't one of their stickers on the box as they do NOT peel off w/o taking the box with them. Might be OM BC #1.

Best part...the wife is not opposed. :)

Bearcats have become really rare here in TN/ North Georgia

I am not sure if it is because flattop44 is buying them all or there really is a drought of them. Haven't seen one in a year or so at any of the shops, ads, or shows

Hah, removing stickers is usually a "piece of cake" if you borrow the wife's hair dryer and get that sticker hot and gently peel it off.

S/N 1? With the WBR Collection and/or at the Factory. It was used in the original articles and advertisements. NO PROTOTYPES were made. First gun was s/n 1.

This "Press Release" image shows the new Bearcat and it's two "cousins", the '58 Remington and the '49 Colt.

We use lighter fluid. Let it soak into the sticker or tape and it will also come right off. Most times all that is left is a little glue residue. A little more fluid and it disappears also. The only thing lighter fluid won't take off is the old dried tape residue left over from duck tape or fiber tape.
