I found in my dads stuff a Single six box that is in good+ condition.

The end reads
SINGLE SIX
22 CALIBER REVOLVER
STURM RUGER & CO.. INC.
SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.

Also a pencil ser.#21063 is written on edge of this same end.

If Wilsons book is correct that puts it between 1955 & 1956.

I want to see how much it is possibly worth as I know that they are desirable.

Thank for any help. Jim Joy

I agree with my friends and will say that those boxes are very desirable when they have "good stuff" within....

OK, send me the money and I'll send you a picture of the box and it's contents!
Flatgate, reminds me of the story about those red-light cameras they use instead of policemen nowadays. Seems they nailed a fella, sent him a picture of his car and tag going through a red light, and included a fine amount and court address. He sent back the picture of his tag, picture of the fine amount and a PICTURE of a check for the amount. The police then mailed back only one item...a picture of hand-cuffs  He paid!
