This is the real me, after completing my full 60 cycles around the sun, unadulterated, pure, organic, in my natural environment, no tree huggers were injured or harassed in the process, and playing lead on a Fender Blackout Deluxe Telecaster, while that feller in the yeller shirt, Max Barnett from Joplin's Big Skillet band plays "Walking In Memphis" on his Fender Deluxe fat Telecaster. Imagine tone that is sparkle chimey with serious twang shimmer happening.

Good goin Don.There's a lot of steam left in us "old' rock & rollers.
The gig Depuitydawg and I played the other week ,we broke out with "Sualtans of Swing" right after an old Hank Williams tune and blew the folks away .I love poping up a surprize tune on folks when they least expect it .Still love being up on the stage and playin for folks. It gets in your blood don't it?
Keep on rockin my friend,
Lou

A tele is my next guitar purchase. 2 Strats, 1 Les Paul, 2 Martins and a couple beaters in my stable and a Tele is on my short "still need one" list.

Nice! I'm a bass player, but I do have an AmStd Tele around the house for playing the three guitar chords I know.

Love the classic sound of a telecaster, and though I played some guitar in high school I found I really didn't have any musical skills at all and gave it up.
You go Don!

Cruzerlou, would love to see you play Sultans of Swing, classic song!
