Nope. My last Harley was a '47 FL. Sold it back in the late '70's. Been riding a '71 Honda CB750 for the last 25 yrs. A slew of others between the Harley and this one.

I personally saw this happen to a friend of mine. He went into the bank, they were less than helpful. He closed his account. It was around 100k. This was in the 70’s.

The bank manager was not happy with the teller.

To be fair he dresses like a homeless person. Fun to go into a car dealership with him too.
Sounds like a old fellow I knew years ago, dressed like a bum and rode around on a raggedy old Harley knucklehead. Nobody took him seriously, richest guy in town.

It’s not just old folks. I have a booth at traditional archery shoots (stick and string, no pulleys) The bowyers let people test their bows. There are always people there just to try any and every bow possible. Especially teen age boys. It’s now mid day Sunday and everybody is tearing down. A 14-16 year old scruffy looking boy is now trying to test a few more bows last minute. Everyone recognized him, he’d been shooting everything all weekend. He gets turned down by every bowyer he talks to. He hits up Tom the guy next to me and Tom hands him the bow he wants. 20 minutes later the kid comes back. There’s a small crowd of bowyers saying their goodbys nearby. The kid walks up to Tom and says “l’ll take it” and pulls out $950 of wadded up tens and twenties. You should have seen all the jaws drop.
