I decided to take my old stock class 9mm slide and a compact red dot. After my Max9 amazed me with the Crimson Trace this ought to really rock. My old Unlimited class rail and Cmore are a little dated and bulky. The slide is too narrow to mill for anything so I decided to try it with one of the sight groove mounted ones. After an hour of filing I got it started and took my 20 ton press to get this in so hopefully it will hold zero. If it doesn't I can always mill it and weld in a plate. I'll have to dig out my old shoulder rig. I'm going to have to weld on a taller front sight since this is part of the slide. I suppose I can mill it and drill it for Glock sights.
