how many here are from ohio and how many would think about all of us maybe tryin to get to one central location some weekend and maybe meet at a range for a ruger shoot?

I live in Columbus,Ohio. Hard to say which weekend would work for me as I take at least one combat training class each month. Count me in though.

Well, we could group together and form a "Ruger squad" at one of the IDPA shoots.
Central Ohio Defensive Pistol League has IDPA matches the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. The 2nd Saturday is held in Circleville at the Pickaway County Sportsmans range, and the 4th Saturday is held in West Jefferson (outside Columbus) at the Big Darby Creek Shooting Range.
Range costs are very reasonable, and it is a lot of fun to shoot scenarios instead of straight bullseye shooting. I shot my SR-9 at my last match.
