Just curious how many of the following were made.
223. 416 T, and Remington 458 Magnum. I've never seen any originals in these calibers, although I did see one picture of a 416 Taylor. I've seen and handled all the other calibers. I did not know that Ruger even made a small bolt face in that model.
Thanks

There were only 12 or 13 M77's made in .416 Taylor.
Of the .223, there were probably thousands. .458 Win Mag...probably several thousand.

Thanks. The 458 Remington is a stranger to me as well. Ruger lists it as one of the calibers that they made in the tang safety model. I've never seen a cartridge for that caliber either.
I've seen quite a few of the Win Mags, and the one's I've been around have been great shooters, but can be hard on stocks.
Tang safety 223's have escaped me. Boy would I love to have one of them in an RS or RLS, but I bet they didn't make any or many of them.

Hey, you are right on the .223 tang safety. I was thinking M77 Mark II when thinking about those, but in a tang safety I don't believe I know of any either. Same on the .458 Rem.....Mark II only.
