Number One 475 Turnbull Wish update

Well my hopes of having a non custom 475 Turnbull in a Number One came one step closer yesterday.

The cartridge was officially given life by SAMMI. Hopefully this will pave the way to more ammo and rifle offerings. A couple already do load it but I would love to see this one gain steam and offer more choices.

I know I am biased do to the fact that this was conceived in my neighborhood but I also like the round. I have shot game with it and had great success. I would really like one in a Number One.

I don't really need another big bore but would sure love one.

I was ecstatic when I heard they might do a 480 Ruger in a 1S. Make this one in a 1H with a 24" C weight barrel and I would be a happy man.

Hopefully this would be an easy chambering and Ruger sees fit to do so

I will keep my fingers crossed.

I wouldn't hold my breath too long waiting for that. A simple rebarrel would be a LOT quicker.

I know but a man can dream. I already have plan "A" in motion an I am having one made as we speak.

Just would like to see it happen as a cataloged item also..
