I was at my local gun shop today and found something a little different. It iss a Stevens model 87d. It has a tubular reciever but it comes up to the shoulder nice. if it shoots well i will reblue it and refinish the stock and checker it. It should make a nice little squirrel shooter.

Nice find!! I've been looking for a factory stock for a Stevens Model 55 (single shot) bolt action. It was blonde wood with a black forend tip like that.

Have you tried Dick williams gun shop in Saginaw Michigan. We have gotten a lot of various stocks and other parts from them through the years for thew gun shop.
