...but I was bored and playing with the camera and the light box. It is an AWA Peackeeper. I'm thinking that I need to find a pair of nice wood grips for it, possibly maple burl.

Nice pic's and gun, you did good. More natural looking than most lightbox pictures.

Great pics!

I bought a pair of new .44 Special AWA Peacekeepers from CDNN a few years ago at just $399 each. The genuine case hardened finish, deep blue, 11 degree forcing cone and smooth, light action is amazing. The trigger pulls on both are 3 pounds and they're accurate too.

I'm glad I got them when I did. I think the AWA Peacekeeper (with the black hard rubber grips which they can't make anymore) was one of the most underappreciated SAA revolvers ever made. People rave about their US Firearms and I know they're awesome, but the AWA's at close out prices were a steal....
