Happy birthday Bob!

I’m curious, which are the 4 states you never made it too? I suspect Alaska and Hawaii might be two of them. Did you have plans to visit those last 4 ever?

I missed Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, plus Hawaii and Alaska. We didn't consider those two as we were unable to drive to those two. Nita said "When there is an Interstate Highway to Hawaii, we might consider going there. Alaska was equally off limits as we could not cross Canada.

Bob I'm curious as well. When you and Nita were doing your vehicle traveling all over the place, was all this nonsense going on back then about which state you could and or could not carry your weapon while in said state. I can remember packing my weapon in my suitcase and saying nothing to the Delta folks and traveling all over the eastern US years ago. But I don't know if I was allowed to, I just took it with me and didn't ask.

I was fortunate enough to travel to all 50 states by the time I was 18. The summer after I graduated from High School my family and I flew up to Alaska.

But we also drove all over Canada, including a side trip via train up to Hudson Bay. Well, just the very Southern edge of it, but still…

So! Why not Canada? Inquiring minds want to know. 😀

Canadians take a rather dim view of my choice of arms. Friend of mine sneaked one in, got caught on the way out. Cost him $400, and a Mountie kept his pistol.
