Been searching the web with limited success but still not finding quite what I’m looking for. I’m looking for a no drill rifle sling that has loops on each end that cinch down. The closest I’ve seen has been a braided cord type and a leather one but they only had the loop on one end and a type of basket for a butt stock on the other.

I am wanting to use it on a shooting tripod. Would be handy to be able to sling it when Im already carrying a rifle and a backpack. I have tried some various slings I have laying around but no dice. (nylon web slings and a few military style leather slings)

I might get by with a homemade adapter to go from a corded loop to conventional sling if I can’t come up with anything else.

Not the loop cinch type but wraps the stock,
I like the October country and will be getting one for my TC cap rifle.

Simply Rugged has one like you describe with the cuff I have one and it works good for me but I bet if you talked to Rob over there he could make it as you wish

Light weight, minimalist. Comes padded too.

We used to make low cost non-adjustable rifle slings by splitting a bridle rein(or a 3/4-1" wide length of leather strap) and running it back through itself to make a slip loop on each end. One end tightened around the fore end and the other back of the pistol grip. Hint: use only vegetable tanned leather.

Thanks for all the suggestions. So far the one from Dixie Gun Works is closest to what Im looking for. If it had both ends the longer adjustable style Id have it. I wrote them to ask if it’s possible to order one that way.

Run a web search for a non-swivel shotgun sling. They have a loop on each end. You should be able to find something that will work for you.

If you plan to leave it on the tripod really any nylon sling would work. Just instead of looping the ends around a sling mount wrap it around where you want with the sling to sit.

This sling has lots of adjustments

Now, if I were doing this I would play with paracord and find a wrap that I like and add two loops one high and one low and use HK style clips attached to a nylon strap. You can use 2 or better yet 4 keepers with two sliders on each end so that you could double up the strap for plenty of length for any season and the paracord could be tied to anything if you should choose to strap it to a pack, cart or anything else as well as using it as a sling mount. With the keepers you wouldn’t need to sew the strap too so easy to change as needed. All a small strap around the tripod with a QD buckle to hold the legs together too and a little paracord would keep that in place too.

What is the tripod you are trying to do this with? Camera, shooting or spotting scope/competition type stand?
