Boy! That's a hard pair to match up. Back in the late 60s, Ruger made about 5000 Single-Sixes in the 500,000 to about 505,000 range and stamped a D in front of the serial number because in 1964 they made the Super Single-Sixes with the same serial number. That's 5000 gun to match up. How many have you seen that has been matched up? I'm sure there are some but I haven't seen any!!!
 
The only ones paired up to date are Chads pair and a gentleman out of Georgia I believe.
I have two of the 31 "D" guns need 520-22036 and 520-22048 in the stainless KNVB-444-Spcl. to pair up.
