NM BH in .30 Carbine - is this barrel short?

Gunbroker auction for NM BH in 30 Carbine.

Is it just me, or does that barrel look about 1/2" short?

Yep Looks like a 6 1/2" to me. Barrel doesn't go to the end of the box.

Looks right to me, but that grip medallian needs a shot of daylight savings and get to the correct time. :lol:

Did/do they make a 30 Carbine in 6.5"?

Or is this a screwup with a 357 barrel installed?

The 30 Carbine was only made by Ruger in 7-1/2"

I know Ruger DID NOT make a 6 1/2" barrel in 30 carbine.
That is a 6 1/2" barrel something. Has to be a 357?????
Look at the location of the rear of the front sight in relation to the ejector rod housing.
Look at these 7 1/2" barrels and sight location.

Seller has a 6.5" .41 Mag listed that has the grip medallion rotated to the same position. Different pics but I think it is the same gun. He likely grabbed the wrong box when taking pics for the .30 Carb. Specs in ad say 7.5".

Since I don't have any of those 41 things. Plum forgot they came in 6 1/2"
