Just bought this for $224.95

My first 22/45. I was surprised to see the logo on the bolt. But it appears to be 1 piece.

I know it wasn’t technically designated a MK II, but it is from 1993 making it preMKIII.

Looks like MKIII 22/45 magazines will work on this one too? Can anyone verify this?

I believe that is correct. So I can play mix and match with my MKII’s if I so desire.

Happy to have a better training/ practice gun for the 1911’s.

If I were carrying a Nambu for my ccw the regular MKII’s would be perfect! Lol.

That would be a maybe. Sometimes they fit and sometimes they require modifications to the receiver or frame to fit.

As far as the bolt material, so far I've found no rhyme or reason to it. I see the same model 22/45s with stainless uppers, one has a stainless bolt and one has a blued steel bolt. See picture below. It doesn't show very well but the top one has a stainless bolt and the bottom one has a blued bolt. Both are KP678GCs.
