Just bought a Ruger 10/22 target tactical and really like it.The gun super accurate but I don't care for the Hogue stock. Is there a replacement stock thats laminated wood that the gun will drop right in to ?The Hogue stock has a sticky feel to it that drives me crazy. Thanks

Check out sleezbay,, as I see stocks offered all the time for the 10/22. I'm one of those folks who prefers the Hogue overmold "tacky" feeling stock as it sure does lock into me when I shoot mine.

I just got a Target Tactical as well. And I fully planned on switching out the Hogue stock with one of those Christy Tacticals...but I got to say I really like the Hogue stock, so much in fact that I've scrapped the idea. Gotta love that all black flat tactical look, though nice wood laminates are good too.
