FYI Ruger overhauled their website and added disassembly, cleaning, and assembly videos for the SR9. They show you how to take it down to the point of removing the striker, aka (removal of magazine disconnect). They also show you how to inspect for peening. :wink:

Thanks for the heads up, even tho the SR9 is one of the easiest pistols ever to take down. How to remove the striker is very handy.

Their Mark III video is the real life saver....

x2 i fond the cleaning disassemble and reassembly ones but not the peening inspection one.

There are no instructions on peening inspection. That was my attempt at humor on the subject, hence the " :wink: " at the end of that comment. My apologizes for the confusion and any waste of your time in looking for those instructions.

went right over my head, but wasn't out of the realm of possibility for me given that everyone is in a fit over every little imperfection or sign of wear
