It's the Ruger LC Charger of the topic. Comes in 5.7 or .45
It's not a "Charger". Or a PC Carbine, or a Mini-Ranch. Or anything else you can think of. Nomenclature matters.

I don't have a LC45, but I do have a .45 ACP carbine that I've fired standard ball ammo through. 8 inch and 10 inch barrel. Standard ball ammo remains subsonic except when there is bullet setback, then it occasionally goes transonic/supersonic. That occurs between 1050 and 1100 fps, so I'd bet standard ball clocks between 1000 and 1050. Someday I will get around to do load development instead of playing with hardware and measure it.Do you have any idea what fps you get out of the LC45 carbine with either the .45LC rounds or the .45ACP rounds?
Read the description of the BBTI experiment; they absolutely collected their own data. It was a huge and very valuable insight into the real world performance of ammo when that data was published, and it still provides valuable insight that cannot be easily obtained by reviewing the data from the majority of manufacturers. So, I am thinking that this website is just giving us the manufacturer's stats, and not getting them on their own.
I believe the LC carbine is a blowback action. I had a blowback 45 ACP carbine a few years ago, Marlin Camp Carbine, with a 16" barrel and it actually was slower than my 5" 1911. I attributed that to the blowback action robbing some of the energy. These weren't +P loads tho, and I expect that would make a difference. I now have a CMMG radially delayed 45 ACP AR-15 because blowback....blows....
I still think the Ruger is a cool gun tho, and might get one someday?!?!?

Protip: visit gun shows and write down serial numbers. It gives a good picture of what's produced by Ruger. So I was wondering if anyone on here has any real world knowledge (work/own gun store, etc.) of how these new Ruger carbines are selling?
FYI...for you LC Carbine owners: the Kriss Magazine extension kit will convert an existing G21 13-round magazine into a 30 round magazine. I put some together for a buddy who has a LC Carbine .45 ACP, and he really likes them. You can find them here: Midway USA Kriss Mag Extension Kit +17 rounds
It is such a heavy gun already I wouldn't want to, but I'm sure you could add some weight to the stock somehow. What is the opinion on can options for the LC, since adding a pound of weight to an already nose heavy rifle will take some getting used to, but unavoidable.?
