Is it true that Ruger no longer makes decock only P95s?
They stopped making them right around the end of 2007. Every now and then you'll still see one NIB out there (gunbroker, etc.) but they are getting scarce.

That's a decock/safety model in the ad. If it was a decock only, the lever would be always be up except when you rotate it down to decock. That gun is in the "safe" position. Mark

Another really stupid 'corporate' decision in my opinion.
Typically sales volume drives "corporate" decisions. If it doesn't sell well enough, you stop making it. I have to assume the (K)P95DC was not selling in adequate numbers or it would still be available.

I'm not sure but I believe that's the only "legal"(California listed) Ruger 9mm that can be bought other then the sr9. Identical to the one i got last year at the Stockade.
Good price too!

I've had both types and don't find much to choose from among them... my latest is a safety model, but I can sweep it back up (and off) quickly and easily after de-cocking.

It matches my KP345 so I'm good! ;D
