New Owner of 10/22 RB looking for a recomendation for scope

A fixed 4X is hard to beat on a standard 10/22, buy the best quality you can afford, definitely get a rimfire scope since the parallax will be set for 50 yds instead of the usual 100. Or there are some scopes with adjustable parallax settings, but they are generally much larger and heavier, and not really needed for your average plinker.

Depends on your intended use....

For hunting/plinking, I'd go with a 1.5-4.5X variable.

If it's stictly paper punching I'd recommend a 3-9X or 4-12X with an adjustable objective.
