I just came home with my new NR-9L and I have to say this one is really nice. The blue is a deep dark blue with a decent polish - not as nice as they used to be, but very nice. The trigger is just OK, but I know how to fix that so overall I am very happy with this one.

Earlier this year I tried to buy one of these my dealer ended up sending two back due to rust......but not this one, it is a good one!

Too many times we only whine about the bad ones, so I wanted to share the good too!

Where was the rust you were finding? internal or external. I have been looking locally and the only one I have found new looked liked someone had taken a pair of pliers to the barrel and tried to twist it. Shiny scrape marks just above the ejector housing. I am still looking and hope to have one in the near future.

just wondering... are you buying online and having to send the guns back to the sellers? I have found a little better price online but shipping and FFL fees pretty much kill any savings. Best price locally is $399.+ tax and online $389 + shipping+ FFL. Plus you have to hope you get a gun with no defects.

I am buying locally and paying the governor. We have a local family owned rural type of department store that has opened a sporting goods section this year and I have been supporting them. Prices are close to what I can get online and if they can't get something for me, they will accept shipment and do the paperwork for $25. They shipped the two with rust back as we caught it before I bought either of them.

Great people to do business with!
