New Model Super Blackhawk front sight???

How hard is it to replace the front blade sight on a new model super blackhawk with a red blade?? I don't see any roll pins??

If there are no roll pins, the blade and base are one piece. You'll have to either replace the entire sight base/blade, or mill the blade off and mill a slot in the base, then pin a new blade in place.

If I was going to replace the entire base and blade, I'd install a front sight similar to the Weigand Combat Interchangeable Sight System here: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=1610 ... GHT_SYSTEM

Bowen sells a "blank blade" that's designed to drop right in a 1/8" wide slot cut in your existing sight base. Mill off the existing blade then plunge cut the slot. Set in the new blade and drill the roll pin hole.....

Shoot and adjust the height since the blades are REALLY TALL.
