Greetings

I have a New Model Single Six in blue, serial number is approximately 261-7XXXX. Barrel is 6-1/2. Its the hunter version. Condition is like new. I do not have the box. The only cylinder I have for it is the 22 mag cylinder. I've never fired it, nor has my father. (It's part of his collection)

Any idea of a fair market value for this piece?

If more info is needed, just ask.

Thanks

Tim

I believe the huners are 7 1/2" and are all stainless. I could be wrong, but am pretty sure I am not. If it is a standard 6 1/2" in blue and you do not have the 22 LR cylinder for it, the value is less than if it had both cylinders or even if it was lr only, as the mag ammo is pricey and some don't like to shoot it. I am guess it is in the 250 to 275 range as you describe it. If it is a hunter model with scope rings and the bases for the scope rings machined into the barrel the above is off, but I have never seen one with that barrel length or in blue.

It's listed as a Convertible and has a 7-1/2" barrel.

So, something's amiss with your description of your Father's Ruger.....

Thanks Louiethelump and flatgate. Its not stainless so its the standard model. I wasn't sure what to ask for it. I should have reviewed the product manual more closely to tell the differences between models.

I'll list it next week in the classified section after I take some pictures.

Thanks for setting me straight.
